SUNBEAM RING AND PENDANT

Temple of Luxor Facade, watercolour, François-Charles Cécile, 1800

The SUNBEAM RING and SUNBEAM PENDANT shaped like the ancient tekhenu, refer to the genesis of the Luxor obelisk, when it stood next to its twin sister at the entrance of the Temple in Egypt more than 3000 years ago .

Constantin Brancusi was also a great admirer of vertical structures, evident in his colonnes sans fin sculptures. With the current retrospective dedicated to his life's work at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, it seemed like the perfect moment to unveil our latest HAUTE ornaments.

Constantin Brancusi’s “Le Baiser”.

These designs draw inspiration not only from the modernity of the Luxor obelisk but also from Brancusi’s groundbreaking sculptures: Le Baiser for our DOUBLEYOU RING and La Muse Endormie for our FALLING LEAF RADIANT SQUARE STUDS.
