NEW GEM
We are thrilled to present CITRUS, CEDRUS and MOON, LWJ’s first trilogy prelude curation inspired by three oriental symbols: the lemon, cedar tree and crescent moon before our official IRL launch from the grandparis in September MMXX.
The first shutter of the trilogy is CITRUS, a variation of pre-owned jewellery pieces and fresh new designs showcasing citrine and organic gemstones such as cultured pearls, mabé pearls and mother of pearls mounted on yellow gold or reconstituted yellow jade recalling the sweet scent of lemon trees in the bustling streets of Beirut.
The citrine’s name comes from the Latin word “citrus” which literally means lemon tree due to its yellow hues, it is known to encourage group cohesion and protect from the evil eye.

ENTITRE
the (L)angle (W)and the (J)curve in the grandparis
As a tribute to matter in a digital age, LWJ brings you to places where sculpture meets architecture in its digital issue ENTITRE.
For its debut ENTITRE “the (L)angle (W)and the (J)curve” LWJ takes you around the grandparis district from the 1900 World Exhibition to nowadays. The journey starts with the Palais de Tokyo built in MCMXXXVII for the World Exhibition hosted in Paris.
Our CITRUS prelude curation used Alfred Janniot’s sculptural fresco “légende de la mer” as the backdrop for the photo shoot. The same space was used by LWJ for our 2015 Wool Week artistic performance where blue inked lines were printed live by skateboarders on 3x3m square sheets of wool.
